Clashes as Egypt marks uprising anniversary

(ROUGH CUT ONLY - NO REPORTER NARRATION) Tear gas smoke permeated Cairo's Tahrir Square as police and demonstrators clashed early on Friday (January 25), the day Egypt marks the second anniversary of the uprising that swept Hosni Mubarak from power. Protesters opposing Egyptian President Mohamed Mursi threw molotov cocktail at the riot police, who responded by firing tear gas to disperse the crowd. On the second anniversary of the uprising, Mursi's secular-minded rivals aim to revive the demands of a revolution that they say has been betrayed by the Muslim Brotherhood, the movement that propelled him to power in an election last year.
