Trains crash in Portugal

(ROUGH CUT ONLY - NO REPORTER NARRATION) A survivor of a train crash in Portugal which left carriages smashed and piled on top of one another on Monday (January 21), has spoken of the impact on passengers . "Something like this never happened to me before. I have been travelling so much and this is the first time something like this happens. I'm in shock. I'm in pain. My nose and leg hurt," Beatriz Prancha said on Tuesday (January 22), just hours after the night-time collision between two trains in Granja do Ulmeiro, around 200 km (124 miles) north from Lisbon. "It was a very big impact, everybody was falling down and I started to panic. Then I was hospitalised and was discharged just moments ago," she added, after being discharged from hospital, along with 12 others, who were all treated for minor injuries. The crash occurred at 2115GMT on Monday night when a train, heading from Lisbon to Oporto with 77 passengers, hit the rear of a second train operating a regional service from Entroncamento to Coimbra. The Portuguese government has ordered an investigation.
