Scout leader Maggie Shaddick

Maggie Shaddick talks about her love of scouting and her long-time involvement in it. The Westmount resident will awarded the Bronze Wolf, given to an individual in recognition of outstanding services to International Scouting. On February 20, the 85-year-old Westmount mother of six will receive the Bronze Wolf in a special ceremony at Victoria Hall marking Scout Week.  Created in 1934 by Scout founder Lord Robert Baden-Powell to recognize outstanding leadership in the world scouting movement, only six women and seven Canadians have been among 320 recipients of the medal.
