Prince Charles's fears for future grandchild

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) The Prince of Wales said he was 'feeling very old' in response to congratulations at his impending grandfatherhood from the This Morning presenting team of Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby, who were conducting an interview to be broadcast on Monday (January 7). In the wide-ranging interview with the ITV daytime show, recorded at Clarence House before Christmas, the Prince also spoke of the responsibility he feels, as the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, William and Kate, await their first child. "For what it's worth I've gone on for years about the importance of thinking about the longterm in relation to environmental damage, climate change and everything else, because we don't really - in a sensible world - want to hand on an increasingly dysfunctional world on our grandchildren. And I don't want to be confronted by my future grandchild saying 'why didn't you do something?' So clearly now that I will have a grandchild, it makes it even more obvious," said Prince Charles. He also reiterated his worry about Prince Harry, who is currently serving in Afghanistan.
