Starbucks Offering Alcoholic Beverages in Select Locations

Starbucks will be offering alcoholic beverages.Starbucks is branching out with their new menu options. After 4 pm, Starbucks is offering appetizers, beer and wine. The evening menu features a selection of wines including malbec, prosecco and pinot grigio. The appetizers include dishes like dates wrapped in bacon, truffle mac and cheese, rosemary and brown sugar cashews and chocolate fondue. The new menu option is not available at all Starbucks, but only at a limited number of certain locations in larger cities like Seattle, Los Angeles, Portland, and Atlanta, along with a few locations abroad in Japan and Spain. A spokesperson for Starbucks said: “We seek to create a new occasion for customers to relax and connect with friends in the evening. We have received very positive feedback from customers in our stores that currently offer the Evenings menu."A new paradigm in Starbucks aesthetic is taking shape with a new store location that they have just opened in Colorado. The new building uses a sustainable design that is made for drive through and walk up service rather than being a typical Starbucks café.The building is LEED certified which among other things means that all of the materials came from less than 500 miles away from the location of the store.
