The frontline of Aleppo

Rebel fighters head to the frontline in Aleppo. It's a front line in the second largest city in Syria. It's city was once considered the commercial hub of the country. Now it's scared by war. (SOUNDBITE)(Arabic) FREE SYRIAN ARMY FIGHTER, JONOD AL ISLAM BRIGAD, SAYING: "We entered this area four months ago, and it has been bombed every day since then, mainly by bombs and mortars. Fighter jets don't come here to the frontline because the regime is afraid... and they only use the jets on civilians, not on the frontline." As rebels claim government military bases on the outskirts of Aleppo, inside the city the war is already a legacy of ruin. Rebels return to the fight against a back drop of destruction in a war that has already cost more than 44,000 lives
