Hobbits hit NYC for film premiere

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: The actors from "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" left the Shire in New Zealand's Middle-earth and descended on New York City on Thursday (December 6) to promote the first film of Peter Jackson's new trilogy, based on the J.R.R. Tolkien novel. The story is what leads up to his epic fantasy "The Lord of the Rings", which Jackson made into three Oscar-winning films about ten years ago.
