Search for missing in Japan tunnel

Rescue teams are trying to reach at least seven people thought to be missing after part of this road tunnel in central Japan collapsed on Sunday. At least two people have been injured. Debris crashed down onto cars inside the tunnel, starting a fire which was put out some three hours after the drama began. Those who escaped had a long walk through the darkness to safety. SOUNDBITE: UNIDENTIFIED WOMAN SAYING (Japanese): "I realised at one point that the car was in half and there wasn't any more traffic behind me." Local media reports said about 100 metres of the Sasago tunnel between Otsuki and Koshu city had collapsed. Further reports of police saying what appeared to be burned bodies had been seen have yet to be confirmed. The rescue operation's been hampered by fears of further collapses inside the 4.7 kilometre tunnel.
