Angus T. Jones slams his show, Spirit Awards nominate best indie films

Angus T. Jones, star of CBS's television comedy "Two and a Half Men," has urged viewers to change the channel, saying his new-found religious beliefs as a Seventh-Day Adventist are at odds with his job playing a fun-loving teen on the show. Jones, who has played Jake Harper for nine years and reportedly makes upwards of 300,000 dollars an episode, appealed to fans to stop watching the series "and filling your head with filth." "Silver Linings Playbook" was among the top nominated films at the Independent Spirit Awards, picking up nods for its stars Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence and a nod for the top prize - best feature. Also earning multiple nominations was "Moonrise Kingdom," which earned nods for actors Bruce Willis, director Wes Anderson, and for best feature. The awards will be handed out on February 23. A third accuser has come forward against Kevin Clash, the Elmo puppeteer who resigned from Sesame Street last week, again citing that Clash has a sexual relationship with him while he was a minor. This new accuser filed a lawsuit in Manhattan, and claims Clash had sex with him when he was still 16. Clash continues to deny all the allegations. Finally, the six-year old daughter of Anna Nicole Smith is following in her mother's footsteps, stepping in front of the camera to model for Guess. The company released photos of Dannielynn Birkhead in a new ad campaign for the company's children's line. Birkhead was five-months-old when Smith died in 2007.
