Surveillance video showing Oslo bombing is released

ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION STORY: Footage of the bomb blast on July 22 last year that ripped through the government quarters in central Oslo killing eight people, was released on Monday (November 26). After setting off the bomb, convicted mass murderer Anders Behring Breivik traveled to Utoeya island where he killed 69 people at the ruling Labour party's summer youth camp. The surveillance footage, obtained by broadcaster NRK and due to be shown as part of a documentary in their Brennpunkt program, shows Breivik parking his car in the government area and briskly walking away wearing what looks like a security guard's uniform. Less than 10 minutes later, Breivik's home-made 950-kg fertilizer bomb explodes and the footage shows the shock wave and fire which blew out all the windows in the adjacent buildings. Eight people died and several people were seriously injured in the blast which also caused substantial damage to several nearby buildings. In August, following a long trial, Breivik was handed a maximum 21 year prison sentence.
