Gazans react to Tel Aviv blast

Injured Israelis are taken to hospital after a bomb blast on a bus in Tel Aviv wounds at least 15 people. A spokesman for Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called it a "terrorist attack" and said that most of the wounded suffered only minor injuries. In Gaza though, the attack is seen as part on the ongoing conflict with Israel - which has so far claimed the lives of more than 130 Palestinians and five Israelis. Here residents celebrated the blast as a response to Israeli offensives. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) RESIDENTS SITTING OUTSIDE SHIFA HOSPITAL: "This is a natural reaction, a besieged people being hit from the air, sea and ground, it's very natural that such a thing has happened. Too much pressure creates an explosion, this is not revenge but a natural reaction." A Hamas official said the strike was legitimate considering no ceasefire had yet been signed. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) RESIDENTS HAMAS OFFICIAL SAMI ABU ZUHRI: "Up until this moment there has not been any ceasefire agreement and until a ceasefire is agreed upon we will continue to respond to the Israeli crimes, especially since the occupation is concentrating on the targeting of women and children. We affirm that we will respond with the same as long as the occupation continue to target our families in Gaza." Israel and Hamas are reported to be considering a truce but are still at odds over key terms.
