Daniel Day-Lewis channels Clint Eastwood at BAFTA event

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Daniel Day-Lewis was honored at the annual BAFTA Britannia Awards in Beverly Hills on Wednesday (November 7). The British-born Oscar winner, who was on hand to be awarded with the Stanley Kubrick Britannia award for Excellence in Film, was in a celebratory mood after the U.S. Presidential election. Day-Lewis walked up on stage with an empty chair, and in reference to Clint Eastwood's similar schtick at the Republican National Convention, thanked an invisible President Barack Obama for winning re-election. The 2012 Britannia Awards were hosted by Alan Cumming, and also honored Daniel Craig, Quentin Tarantino and South Park's Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The awards show will air on BBC America on Sunday, November 11.
