First election day votes cast in New Hampshire

(ROUGH CUT ONLY - NO REPORTER NARRATION) Residents in the tiny hamlet in northern New Hampshire cast the first election day votes on Tuesday (November 6) in the U.S. presidential election. Ten voters gathered at a polling station and awaited the strike of midnight before casting their ballots in what has become a tight race for the White House. The votes were quickly counted, before a moderator declared the results "a tie". Both President Barack Obama and Republican challenger Mitt Romney scored 5 votes. Officials said it was the first time a tie had been declared in the New Hampshire hamlet.
