Sandy's trail of destruction

A woman walks through the flooded streets of Hoboken New Jersey. Millions of people across the Northeastern United States are attempting to resume normal lives after the massive storm Sandy destroyed power and transit in nine states and left at least 45 people dead. Sandy battered the New Jersey shore line reducing many of the once lively beach community to debris. Now in Seaside Heights, its boardwalk and rides have been reduced to memories. Fires claim buildings along the New Jersey Shore. In New York Laguardia airport is water logged and closed for business. Homes on Coney Island are reduced to rubble. Subways in New York, that carry several million people are flooded and could be closed for days.
