Police, protesters clash in S.Africa mining protest

South African police fired rubber bullets, stun grenades and tear gas on Saturday to disperse striking miners who were trying to prevent a rally by the country's main labour grouping. Trade union leaders hit back, saying the miners are being misled by people with political ambitions.
