Brahimi: Syria agrees to ceasefire

***EDIT CONTAINS GRAPHIC IMAGES*** Talk of a ceasefire in Syria Kofi Annan's replacement Lakhdar Brahimi made the announcement in Egypt. SOUNDBITE: International envoy Lakhdar Brahimi saying (Arabic): "All I want to tell you is that after my visit to Damascus, there was an agreement amongst the Syrian government for a ceasefire during Eid and I believe that they will release a statement either today or tomorrow." Syrian military forces say they are reviewing the agreement. Rebels told Reuters that the ceasefire will be pointless without international monitors in place to The Muslim holiday begins on Thursday and lasts several days. In the meantime, however, new reports that 25 people including women and children were killed during a massacre in just outside of Damascus.
