Baghdad blasts kill six

Men toss rubble out of a Baghdad home. Police said six were killed and two wounded when mortar shells hit the suburb of Chikok on Tuesday. But locals claim bombs attached to three parked cars caused the blasts. This woman said she was about to wake her children up for school when her windows shattered. (SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) LAMIA SAMI, RESIDENT SAYING: "When will we stop being killed like this? Let the people responsible give us a time frame so we can sit in our houses and not venture outside. The problem is that every year there is death and killing and terrorism." Although violence in Iraq subsided since its peak in 2006-2007, sectarian attacks have been on the rise after U.S. troops pulled out last December. In September alone militants killed 365 people, making it the deadliest month in two years.
