Police and anti-austerity demonstrators clash in Spain.

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION) STORY: Clashes break out as anti-austerity demonstrators clash with police near Spain's Parliament Saturday night (September 29) for a third time in five days. Police sealed off access to the Parliament building earlier in the day, as demonstrators chanting against new austerity measures continued to arrive at the rally site. Discontent amongst the electorate is on the rise as spending cuts continue and a bank bail-out is in the process of taking place. With the highest unemployment rate in Europe - almost 25 percent - Spaniards feel they are being asked to tighten their belts while banks get rescued. Spain is at the center of the euro zone debt crisis as nervous investors demand ever higher premiums to hold Spanish debt on concerns the government cannot control its finances in the midst of a deepening recession.
