Ohio Women Prisoners Weave Mats for Homeless

Inmates at Ohio's prison for women are making mats for homeless people using an all-too-familiar artifact of the modern world: plastic grocery bags. The women crochet the six-foot by four-foot sleeping mats, which are made of 600 to 900 bags. (Sept. 24)Copyright 2012 The Associated Press
