Nigerians protest anti-Islam film

Tens of thousands of Muslims march through the streets of Nigeria's northern city of Kano on Saturday. They're protesting against an anti-Islam film that specifically insults the Prophet Mohammad. The demonstrators shout slogans against the United States, Israel and France -- and drag their flags along the ground -- though no violence was reported at the rally. Saturday's march was organized by the Islamic Movement of Nigeria, which is a pro-Iranian Shia Muslim group. The controversial film -- entitled 'Innocence of Muslims' -- was made privately in the United States, and has sparked continuing protests and riots in countries with significant Muslim populations for nearly two weeks. In Islam, any depiction of the Prophet is generally considered blasphemous.
