Richmond does gilting and geometric

NO REPORTER NARRATION STORY: British designer John Richmond drew inspiration from the 1950s for his golden collection which mixed fabrics and styles on Wednesday (September 19) during Milan Fashion Week. New geometric cuts for leather jackets and trousers gave the collection an air of creativity. Metallic details shone on heels, bags and jewellery to convey a glamorous sense of luxury. Some dresses had an accentuated waistline and A-line skirts to celebrate femininity. Dresses in floral prints added an exotic allure to the eclectic show, which mixed lengths and styles. The designer worked a palette of clean bold colours, black and white, while prints had flowery and tattoo-inspired motifs
