Stars bid farewell to Marvin Hamlisch

Sarah Jessica Parker and star couple Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones arrived at New York's Julliard School of Music to honor the late composer Marvin Hamlisch. Hamlisch, the award-winning composer of numerous hit records, musicals and movies, died unexpectedly in Los Angeles on August 6. He was 68. His death came as a shock to his friend, TV personality Regis Philbin. (SOUNDBITE) Regis Philbin, American media personality, saying (English): "I think somebody told me that they saw it on TV and I just couldn't believe it - but a terrible shame, a terrible loss for music and for New York." Actress Emily Fletcher also honored the late composer for his original score for "A Chorus Line". Fletcher was one of the original castmembers. Hamlisch, who was working until days before his death, earned the rare distinction of winning Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards.
