Buchanan Sees No `Huge Stimulus' in China in Near Term

Sept. 7 (Bloomberg) -- Michael Buchanan, chief Asia-Pacific economist at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. in Hong Kong, talks about China's economy and the nation's monetary and fiscal policies. China approved plans to build 2,018 kilometers (1,254 miles) of roads, its second major construction project announced this week, as the government boosts spending on infrastructure to help spur economic growth. Buchanan speaks from Singapore with Rishaad Salamat and Susan Li on Bloomberg Television's "Asia Edge." (Source: Bloomberg)
