Noriega heads home to Panama

After an absence of 22 years, Panama's former military leader Manuel Noriega has begun his journey back home from a Paris prison after doctors declared him fit enough for extradition to the Central American nation.A shadow of his former self after spending over two decades behind bars for drug racketeering convictions, the 77-year-old one-time double agent is expected to be re-tried on charges that he ordered the killings of political rivals.Al Jazeera's Lucia Newman reports.
