Deliveries and deliberations in Colorado shooting

The man suspected in a shooting rampage at a Denver-area premiere of the new "Batman" movie received a high volume of deliveries over the past four months, according to Aurora Police Chief Dan Oates . (SOUNDBITE) (English) AURORA POLICE CHIEF DAN OATES, SAYING: "We've become aware that our suspect over the last four months had a high volume of deliveries, commercial deliveries, of packages to both his home and work address. We think this begins to explain how he got his hands on all the magazines and the ammunition yesterday that we talked about yesterday. We also think it begins to explain some of the materials that he had in apartment. One of the things we are processing as you might expect as law enforcement is potential defenses and what we're seeing here is evidence of, I think, some calculation and deliberation." Earlier authorities conducted a controlled explosion in suspect James Holme's apartment, which had been booby trapped. On Friday, a gunman wearing a full body armor, opened fire in a dark theater killing 12 people and injuring 58 others. Holmes was taken into custody in a parking lot behind the cinema, where he surrendered without a fight. Deborah Lutterbeck, Reuters
