Olympic Torch Travels Through The Queen's Sandringham Estate

The Olympic torch travelled through the royal estate of Sandringham on Wednesday, the 47th day of its relay around Great Britain. As it made its way between Peterborough and Norwich, the torch was carried through the gates of Queen Elizabeth's estate by 57-year-old Paul Tudor. It was passed to him by Eddie Pleban, a 63-year-old recovering from a severe stroke who said he had never expected to be able to walk again. [Eddie Pleban, Olympic Torch Bearer and Stroke Victim]:"I've been training very hard to be able to walk with one stick. I never thought I would do it. So this day has been good, it's inspired me to actually get off me bum and walk and I've done it.”Sandringham has been the private home of four generations of British monarchs, and is a favourite country retreat of the current Queen.
