Swedish singer and songwriter Laila Bagge visits children living in the slums of Bangladesh

DHAKA, Bangladesh, 3 May 2012 – For Laila Bagge, the Swedish singer and songwriter, visiting the residents of T and T colony, a slum in Dhaka, was a life-changing experience. During her three-day trip, Ms. Bagge also visited a UNICEF-supported child-friendly space, a place for children to play and learn, and she spoke to children about their experiences growing up in urban poverty.
