Dolly Parton shines at "Joyful Noise" premiere

This is the first time the two singers team up for a big screen project. The two women play opposing roles in "Joyful Noise," a film about an Atlanta church choir trying to win a national competition. For Parton, this was an opportunity to stretch her talents with one of the music industry's biggest names. She spoke about the film, and about fellow music royalty Beyonce's newborn, Ivy Blue Carter. "Joyful Noise" hits U.S. theaters January 13.
