Bollywood star prepares to see double

Bollywood star Madhuri Dixit-Nene is the latest to join the A-list line up at Madame Tussauds. Known for her dazzling dancing, Madburi slowed down long enough to be measured by a team of sculptors in Mumbai. SOUNDBITE: Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Bollywood actress, saying (English): "I was thrilled, excited, it's an honor and I was very happy that I was chosen to be there." The figure will cost £150,000 pounds ($233,000 U.S. dollars) to make and take a team of sculptors, hair, makeup and wardrobe experts four months to finish. Sculptor Jethro Crabb talked about the first steps. SOUNDBITE: Jethro Crabb, sculptor, saying (English): "We were taking hundreds of measurements of her, and photographs from every angle. We were also matching her hair color, eye color and skin tone. And we'll take all the information with us back to London to our sculptors there who will begin sculpting the figure." Madam Tussauds London says it knows she'll delight Bollywood fans around the world - as they are constantly inundated with their requests to feature her. Madhuri will be the first Indian actress to be honored by the attraction since Aishwarya Rai in 2004 and will be unveiled in March. Alicia Powell, Reuters.
