One of our correspondents caught up with audience members who say the show left a powerful impression on them.LATER THIS week, Shen Yun will travel to the Canadian city of Hamilton, and the US cities of Waterbury, Connecticut; Austin, Texas; and Worcester Massachusetts.Shen Yun Performing Arts is currently performing at Jones Hall in Houston, Texas.[Samuel Brown, Executive Director, Online Sales, Houston Chronicle]:"I'm not one who enjoys dance too much but I was enthralled by this. I loved every second of it. I would highly recommend it."[Korrie Cooper, IT Analyst]:"And the music was so emotional, I cried a couple of times. It was just, it was beautiful. I would come and see it everyday."[Samuel Brown, Executive Director, Online Sales, Houston Chronicle]:"To learn that so many things that I consider western dance actually originated in China was very interesting."[John Skinner, Businessman]:"I love this show. From the very first when the curtain went up and that opening was as grand as anything I have every seen. I really did like it. And I've been flipping through the program trying to keep in my mind everything I've seen. I'd like to meet the Monkey King— that man can dance."[Tony Yeung, Administrative Assistant]:"There's so much history in it and it's how we are. What it does is bring culture to life, and being in Houston, Texas, just celebrates all the different cultures in this city.
