Kyrgyzstan's fragile ruling coalition collapsed last Friday, one day after the new president took office. Tursunbekov announced last week that his party decided to pull out of the coalition because of disagreements among the three-way coalition.Launched about a year ago, the three-way ruling coalition consisted of 77 deputies from three parties - the SDPK, the Republic, and the Ata Zhurt (Fatherland).
