Remembering race in occupied Wall Street

Washington, DC - The Occupy Wall Street movement protesting against corporate practices has me daring to hope that the striking disparities in the United States will change for the better. It takes a leap of faith to be hopeful, because substantial change has not come in response to the economic crisis, housing market crash, persistent high unemployment rates or debt ceiling debacle. The institutions causing these disasters have received only a cursory slap on the wrist.
